Kaiut Yoga Classes

Yoga for Every Body.

The Kaiut Method all about returning the body to optimal structure and functionality by working from the joints rather than stretching muscles in extraordinary ways. Kaiut Yoga is designed to work through chronic pain and injuries, general aches and stiffness. It helps those who sit all day, as well as those who do consistent movements such as cycling or running. It keeps us healthy, mobile and pain free for as long as possible.

Regardless of your ability, size, shape, or even your age, we’ll teach you how to move with your body again through a proven method that increases range of motion, promotes a sense of calm and decreases pain.

Regardless of how you landed here, your story matters. Whether you have a diagnosis, a history of injuries or surgeries, or you’d like to go to the next level in improving your health and wellbeing, support can be found here.

Kaiut Yoga is:

  • A PRACTICE THAT ACTIVATES YOUR BODY’S NATURAL HEALING INTELLIGENCE

  • HIGHLY CUSTOMIZED TO MEET YOUR UNIQUE NEEDS

  • DESIGNED FOR BOTH TIGHT BODY TYPES, AS WELL AS PEOPLE WITH MORE FLEXIBILITY

  • CALMING FOR THE NERVOUS SYSTEM AND HELPS TO SETTLE YOUR MIND

  • EMPOWERING AS YOU DEVELOP A DEEPER RELATIONSHIP AND UNDERSTANDING OF YOUR BODY AND MIND

Kaiut Yoga is a biomechanical form of yoga that is meant to help you be at your best both physically, mentally, and emotionally. There is no better time to discover what this yoga can do for you and your loved ones.

We should all have a longevity plan. What’s yours? How long do you want to cycle, hike, ski, run or just be mobile and functional? How do you want to be in your body at 80, 90 or perhaps even 100? Kaiut Yoga is Yoga for Every Body!

How does a virtual yoga class work?

In an interesting “turn” of events, the camera will be on YOU, not me. As I lead a class, I am watching each and every participant to see how the pose (or I like to call shape) can be adjusted to bring you closer to the right shape for your body. I need to see you to support you. If you happen to have a greater level of mobility, I need to see where you might need greater structure, and guide you into that. If you are on the more rigid side of life, I don’t want you to force yourself into a shape your body will reject and cause greater pain. Watching you allows me the opportunity to customize a single class to every participant. So, try your best not be shy or self-conscious, when I say all bodies are welcome I mean it - those without makeup, those with extra tissue where we’d like there to be less, those with messy bedrooms because that’s the only quiet place available, I hope you get my point.

I would appreciate the chance to chat with every new participant before the class begins so I can understand your unique situation and learn what I should be holding for you as your intention during the class. You may be nervous because of a recent knee replacement, or consider yourself a lifelong yogini who wants to try this new method out. You might be 80 and this is your first yoga class ever. You might have a history of participating in triathlons and want to keep your fitness level where it is. You might sit behind a computer for 12 hours a day and you feel like you need your body needs a little diversity in how it sits in space. Each situation asks for something a little different. Not to mention that you are the only one on the planet who has lived life in your body and has experienced what you’ve experienced. There’s no one class fits all here.

Below are some ideas on how to set your space up “ideally” for me to see you best. Again, do you best, but don’t get hung up on this. I invite all participants to log on up to 10 minutes before the class begins in case I need to ask you to shift any camera angels, lighting, etc. and this way class can begin on time.

Please sign-up for the class you plan to attend. Having you claim a spot will encourage you to show up. We all say we want to do yoga more regularly, signing up helps you with your own accountability (I’m a coach, I can’t help it!). Signing up also gives me ample time to tailor the class to those I already have advanced knowledge about. The Zoom link will be included in your sign-up confirmation.

  • Most students that practice regularly with this method (2 -3 times a week) will notice results within 2-4 weeks. Many people experience more range of motion and a higher level of confidence. Most students remark on how they feel more calm. It’s very common to hear students comment on how they’re back at life and enjoying their relationships again after 3-6 months of consistent practice.

  • We want you to get the best results possible. Recommended frequency depends on each individual person.

Talk to me and tell me about your unique situation so that I can evaluate you and get you started towards a higher quality of life.
