The end of a year - or early in a new one is a great time for people to get focused on what they want from the year ahead – or even their lives. For me, a Vision Board is a way of teaching our mind to focus on the things that are important to us.  Vision Boards can also be a great way to connect with our subconscious wants, desires and needs - and make them conscious! What we focus our attention on, expands.

A "Vision Board" can help people:

  • Clarify who they are, what they want or where they're going.

  • Get their new year off to a flying start.

  • Tap into their inner wisdom and inner knowing.

  • Create some focus or refocus themselves.

  • Unleash their creative genius.

  • Simply get to know themselves better!

What is a Vision Board anyway? 

A Vision Board is simply a collective name for a wide variety of inspirational maps (a collage) that we create from pictures and words. The map can be WHO we want to be or HOW we want our lives to be but it’s a visual representation of our goals and dreams—a powerful way to make our aspirations more tangible and attainable.

How I believe Vision Boards work: 

Our minds can only hold about 7 pieces of information at any one time. And yet there are millions of pieces of information available to us at every moment (think about everything you can see/hear/feel just in this moment for starters). So, to ensure we don't get overwhelmed, our mind learns to filter information and to only show you pieces of information it thinks is RELEVANT. That’s why when we get a new little red car we suddenly notice little red cars everywhere - just like ours.

THIS is one of the key ways that Vision Boards work. The very act of CREATING the vision board tells our mind what’s important – and it may just draw your attention to something you might not otherwise have noticed (or draw your desires to you in real form!)

As a full day immersion (10am - 6pm), I'll have a labyrinth laid out in the yard, a bonfire at the end of the evening and a light lunch for us to gather around the table for nourishing food and talk of the future. Some sacred smudging, and integration of healing crystals will help clear the way and set intentions. Feel free to come a little early, and stay a little late.

It's been a hard year for so many people, and I hope to create a space where we can honor the deep, contractive labor process that has been unfolding, and usher us into that final push so that new life can spring forth. Let us release, open up, and dream. Feel gratitude. Feel community. Feel lightness and hope. Release the "eff you's" and unleash the floodgates of love. Inspiration - deep inhales, a-ha's and new possibilities are waiting for you (they're already on their way!).

This is an 8 hour event.  A light lunch and an assortment of teas and chocolate are offered. I provide all the tools necessary.  *Optional: though not necessary, if you'd like to bring a collection of your own magazines to share, the more diversity the richer the vision boards.  We'll have some inquiry and discussion time at the beginning to gain clarity on what we want to bring in to our world and then the crafting-magic happens!  Once everyone has a completed board, we'll spend time sharing our thoughts, dreams and goals with one another, gathering collective support and a beautiful group of heartfelt people all cheering YOU on.

Come steep yourself in nature, walk the labyrinth before the day begins or after lunch, burn anything you need to release in the closing bonfire. Start fresh, with an inspiring vision and clarity for your future.
